2008년 9월 말 현재 충북도내 농공단지는 청주시를 제외하고 11개 시·군에 모두 41개가 지정되어 있다. 이를 지역별로 살펴보면 진천군 7개, 옥천군 6개, 제천시 5개, 충주시 4개의 순으로 대체로 접근성이 좋은 지역에 집중적으로 위치하고 있다. ’90년대 들어서면서 농공단지 조성이 감소하였는데 수도권공장 입지규제 완화로 농촌지역 입지의 매력이 상실되었기 때문이다. 농공단지에 입주한 업종을 보면, 잡화, 기계, 금속, 화공 등 일반 제조업종이 전체 업체수의 약 90.2%를 차지하고 있다. 이중 농업과 관련성을 갖는 식품 …
