 [ABSTRACT]

This Study is to see methods for Commercialization of Agricultural Products in Chungbuk Province. Except for some cities in Chungcheongbuk-do, most of them are population-extinct areas of agricultural villages, which continue to decline due to low birth rates and aging population, and at the same time have a common point that a large part of the local economy is dependent on agriculture. However, most of the  griculture in these regions is operated by the elderly, so it is difficult to say that they have a certain level of competitiveness or specialized development potential. In recent years, various attempts have been made to utilize agricultural products based on local differentiated resources in agricultural products as a means of revitalizing the local economy. In particular, as the K-Hallyu has recently spread to K-foods, global interest in them is very high, and successful cases are appearing. In Chungcheongbuk-do, efforts to use agricultural products as a means of revitalizing the local economy are very active, and what is noteworthy is their access to the global market. The argument is that the domestic market continues to shrink, and the breakthrough market activation in a short period of time is far from being activated due to the decline in population and rapid aging. Currently, various efforts are being made to make the most of these opportunity factors in Chungcheongbuk-do and basic local governments. While pursuing sales expansion by holding promotional events related to overseas promotion of agri-food, supporting participation in related international fairs, export logistics costs, and packaging materials, it is pursuing advancement and high value-added exports of existing agricultural products (Stag.1), agri-food exports (Stag.2), and agricultural products (Stag.3) for the purpose of qualitative advancement. If so, the current status of Chungbuk-do has reached a certain stage and an alternative was sought based on related research on what are the difficulties. In this study, policy alternatives were proposed: developing customized policies based on difficulties in exporting agricultural products; developing measures to resolve barriers to entry into overseas markets by revitalizing agricultural corporations; (tentative name) revitalizing exports of agricultural products through the establishment of Chungbuk trade; operating customized education programs for targets; and re-establishing governance.
